Who's In The Pride Fleet?
From sleek racers to laid-back cruisers, big or small — all vessels are welcome in the Sydney Pride Regatta, provided they meet the criteria outlined in the racing information section.
Don’t have a racing yacht or only have a powerboat? No problem! You can still be part of the action by registering as a spectator boat and joining the celebration on the Harbour. 🌈⛵

The Pride Regatta is a vibrant annual sailing event that launches the Mardi Gras season on the sparkling waters of Sydney Harbour. First held on 14 February 2025, the regatta is now heading into its third year and has grown to become the world’s largest sailing event for LGBTQ+ sailors and allies.
We welcome all participants, regardless of gender identity or sexuality (including allies), and are committed to the safety and wellbeing of all crew, volunteers and officials.
In its second year, 23 yachts and more than 150 sailors proudly sailing under the Pride flag, creating a spectacular celebration of competition, community, visibility and pride in sport. Organised in partnership with RANSA and GFS, with the support of Pride in Sport and Australian Sailing, the regatta combines the excitement of twilight racing with a powerful message of inclusion and belonging.
After the race, celebrations continue at the Pride Regatta Village in Rushcutters Bay, with music, food, drinks and dancing bringing sailors, supporters and the wider community together.
More than a yacht race, the Pride Regatta is a growing international celebration of diversity, connection and pride—and an unmissable highlight of Sydney’s Mardi Gras calendar.

After the race, the celebration comes alive at the Pride Regatta Village, right next to the RANSA clubhouse in Rushcutters Bay. As the yachts return from the iconic Sydney Harbour, join the crews and community for an evening of dinner, drinks, dancing, and stories from the day on the water.
